How to Celebrate Your Newborn’s First Noel

1. What you know.
Education is all about learning the fundamentals, but to be an effective speaker is to practice what you've learned. My stint as guest at every Toastmasters' meeting I go to taught me that we all have our boundaries, but that doesn't mean we can't learn to carry on and share what we know.

2. Listening.
It's just as essential as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be a little bit positive with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with conviction.

3. Humility
We all make fault, and sometimes we tend to slur our words, stutter, and most likely mispronounce certain words even though we know what it means, but infrequently use it only to impress listeners. So in a group, don't be afraid to ask if you're saying the right word properly and if they're uncertain about it then make a joke out of it. I promise you it'll make everyone laugh and you can get away with it as well.

4. Eye Contact
There's a lot to say when it comes to guiding your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze. It's essential that you keep your focus when talking to a large group in a meeting or a gathering, even though he or she may be attractive.


5. Kidding around
A little bit of humor can do wonders to lift the anxiety, or worse boredom when making your speech. That way, you'll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they'll feel that you're just as easy to talk to, and as human to those who listen.

South Korean web portal Daum.net Join with Google

Daum, one of South Korea's most visited website portals, has all set up tp team up with Google in the competitive sphere of online advertising. Daum Portal will now display advertisements to their 38 million registered users from Google's pay-per-click AdSense network.

This move will expands Google's market presence in Asia and will build on previous links between the companies, which started in 2003 with the integration of Google web search into Daum's websites. Google Introduce Radio Advertising System

Google Inc. announced that it has completed the development of its widely anticipated radio advertising system. Customers can now buy ads trough its online ad-buying system which is built into its existing AdWords online ad system.The AdWords system allows users to track how much is spent on the ads, as well as when it's aired. Analysts hope this simplified, web-based system shakes up the industry.

Google Audio Ads is an online ad-buying system that was developed by dMarc Broadcasting, a company purchased by Google for around $100 million in 2006.

A small advertiser logs into Google's Adwords Web site and creates a radio ad campaign online, selecting the geographical area, demographics of the radio audience, time of day and radio format. The advertiser can bid on how much it is willing to pay to buy the air time, but doesn't know the exact station that will carry the advertiser's ad.

If the advertiser doesn't already have a radio ad created, Google will provide access to on-air talent and producers who bid on the job, which will allow the two sides to negotiate the price and content.

The radio stations can see how many advertisers bid on each slot, listen to an ad and choose or reject one -- all online. Google makes a commission off of the transaction with the radio station.

Analysts expect Google Audio Ads to shake up the $20 billion annual U.S. radio advertising industry by offering a simplified Web-based purchasing process for radio ads to its existing base of hundreds of thousands of text advertisers.

Google wants to expand beyond the web search advertising industry, and just this week announced a deal with Sky broadband where Sky will Google's video content tools and search and advertising tools across its websites.

The trial is going on in the US at the moment, but Google has not said when the system will be made available to all stations. But broadcasters participating in the Google test said they have been satisfied with the results.
