3. Buyers should be cautious about the papers that are included when buying used cars. Purchaser should as much as possible be sure that the car is not stolen and there are no liens on the car, and that the one who signed on the “Bill of Sale” is the true vendor and the owner of the property. When you buying from a reputable dealer, this may not be a problem.

4. Before you buying a used car, check the overall condition of the car, inspect for any rust or damage; check the tires, tubes etc. Purchasing a used car can be time consuming but the end result will give the buyer a lot of satisfaction knowing that he or she has purchased a good buy.

5. Check the cars chronicle....The car’s history will provide the buyer some info regarding the repairs and problems of the car. If you can detect some history it would be to your advantage. So this way, the buyer will be able to equivalence one car from the other. Protection against purchasing a used car with costly, hidden problems can be a mechanic's inspection.
