How Many Pages Google Indexed from your website?

The more Pages Indexed by Google Search Engine, the more Web Traffic you get. Unless your pages are in Google’s Index, it will not show up on search result page for any queries.

To Find out how many pages are indexed, open www.google.com and in search field you can type site:yourdomain.com and press search. ‘yourdomain’ can be replaced by your website address. For instance in my case, I would type site:everydayspace.blogspot.com

Let us see how many pages of Blogger.com is indexed by Google.


Once you press the search button, you are taken to the search result Page. The total number of result is the Total number of Pages Google indexed from blogger.com
Many time, only home page of your website is indexed by Google. Make sure that in your Meta Tag you don’t have a Tag that says “Index Nofollow” if you have that, search engine crawler will not go beyond your home page and index other pages. If you want search engine to index all your pages, remove that Tag from your Meta tag.

One of the best to increase the chance of indexing all your pages by Search Engine is to have a Sitemap where you would place the link to all your Pages. Google itself has come with solutions to this –Google Sitemap.

For sites like blogspot, I suggest you create post ( like I did ) where you would put all the Post Links. This will increase the chance to search engine to index your Website Pages.
